Please be informed that the National Certificate: Construction Plumbing level 3 (ID No. 21853) qualification has been replaced by the Further Education and Training (FET) Certificate: Construction Plumbing level 4 (ID No. 58782). Against this background, The CETA invites all providers who were accredited against the qualification 21853 level 3 to upgrade their accreditation status to qualification 58782 level 4.

All providers who intend to cover the entire scope of the qualification 58782 are to ensure that their assessors have undergone RPL assessment in order to be accredited for unit standards highlighted in yellow. It must be noted that providers can be accredited on all other unit standards using assessors that are in possession of a plumbing trade test qualification.

Further note that the unit standards 115753  and 7876 will not be registered by any provider at this point as these standards belongs to ETDP SETA.
