Human Resources Department

The CETA Human Resources Department (HR) provides overall direction on human resource management issues and administrative support functions related to the management of employees of the CETA. The Department endeavours to be a strategic partner to the CETA by providing human resources programmes that attract, develop, retain, and engage a skilled and diverse workforce, thereby positioning the CETA as an employer of choice.

The CETA Human Resources Department is responsible for the:

  • Development of the human resources strategy of the organisation
  • Provision of advice on human resources processes
  • Management of the organisation’s industrial relations function and disciplinary processes
  • Ensuring compliance with CETA policies and procedures relating to human resources
  • Overseeing organisational staff recruitment and induction
  • Ensuring the implementation of performance management and training and development interventions in the organisation
  • Ensuring CETA compliance with HR-related policy, legislative, regulatory and reporting requirements
